My Story

Before moving to LA, Angela performed sketch comedy in clubs throughout the Southeast. She did a number of musicals and operas as she traveled the east coast as well. And has performed at a theatre in conjunction with the national Shakespeare Company.

Once in LA she did several plays and musicals.    She even learned some magic tricks performing with a magician at the magic Castle.

She later found her way over to the LA Comedy Connection.While doing improv there, she was cast in the show “Unacceptable Behavior” on SiTV. Angela wrote and starred in this Sketch Comedy Show which awarded her a nomination from the NAMIC Vision Awards for Best Actress in A Comedy Series, along with great actresses like Tonye Patano “Weeds”, Sherly Underwood “BET’s Comic View”, and now Oscar Winner MoNique for her show on Oxygen.

As a writer on that show, she soon was offered a job writing for a comedy Segment on the channel 13 News and went on to help a handful of comics write bits for their acts.

During that time, Angela performed improv shows around town, including the main room of the illustrious Comedy Store and Icehouse.

Now you can catch her in one of several National Commercials. Or guest starring on an episode of your favorite show even reruns of Good Luck Charlie or Community.
